Designed as a batch prepared mix which is bursting with the tastes associated with holiday season, rendering it ideal for your holiday party. Save the extra cordial to use in morning drinks, sweets, or to make additional servings of bikinis.
Bikini Recipe
Yields 10 servings
Ingredients for the Clementine Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
Ingredients for the Drink (produces 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (as made above)
Fresh cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
Making the Cordial: Put the listed components in a pot, bring to a light boil, mixing to dissolve. After that, remove from the burner and let it to cool down completely. Transfer into an sealable bottle, close it keeping it chilled, where it will keep for around four weeks.
To make Premix: Pour the specified spirits and syrup into one big jug, let it rest for one hour, then pass it through best through cheesecloth, so it's completely strained.
For serving: Pour 85ml of the batch mix into your stirring glass packed with ice, and stir carefully for one minute to cool it down. Strain to a frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, decorate with the cranberries adding the final touch using a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the top.
